Facebook gets new lead generation tools

Making more and more direct contacts through Facebook becomes easier since Meta updates lead generation to make it easier for users to connect with brands. Marketers can now run promotional ads using in-stream discount codes. The code will be automatically applied at checkout. If the user does not finish a purchase for any reason, he’ll get an extra notification before the deal expires.

Lead ads can now change question flow based on users’ answers. So. it will eventually guide a user to the information he needs. What’s more, Facebook allows overlaying instant form on a company’s web page to streamline information gathering flow. All in all, Meta is looking to help brands engage users and manage their deals. And a lead generation form can be placed on a company’s website which is connected to CTA on the page. Those updates can be very handy since Meta is looking to help brands spark a conversation with customers.

Instagram updates Content Collaboration

Instagram is changing Branded Content Ads to Partnership Ads and allowing brands to promote other types of content besides the one with Paid Partnership label. So, marketers can now promote organic posts including branded content, mentions, people and product tags, etc. with paid partnership label. That is a new way for brands to expand their partnership and monetize UGC. Basically, the process remains the same. A creator is supposed to enable ‘Allow brand partner to boost so that other businesses can use their content for promotion. So, brands can initiate campaigns letting creators approve them. The platform is also testing a new process, but it is a matter for further discussion.

Twitter allows uploading longer videos

Twitter Blue subscribers can now upload longer videos. The subscriber with 650k followers is allowed to upload a video up two hours with 1080 resolution on iOS and up to 10 min on Android for paying subscribers. Those users who do not have so many followers can still upload 140 second long videos. An hour-long-uploads were available back in December. By doing so Twitter is trying to give video content a bigger push.

LinkedIn helps users build their presence

In May LinkedIn added new topic and post prompts to help brands build their presence. The users with the Creator Mode active now can see their content performance over time. Last month the platform rolled out a new feature – ‘conversations Happening now’ including Post Ideas listing. This section shows relevant posts based on your previous interactions and posts. You can click on the post and repost it with your own comments to spark a conversation. This is a LinkedIn’s experiment in order to make users post more often.
